The Difference Between a Senior Resume and an Executive Resume
The difference is not length or vocabulary. It is the level of perspective.
Start with the purpose
A senior resume often demonstrates mastery of a function. An executive resume must also show how that function connects to enterprise priorities.
Build the narrative
Leadership at this level includes choices: where resources moved, which risks were accepted, how alignment was built and what changed because of the work.
Keep the evidence credible
The writing should create altitude without becoming vague. Specific evidence keeps strategic language credible.
